The Kashko family lives in one of the displacement camps in southern Gaza, where living conditions are harsh and limited. This family, which includes many children, faces great difficulty in securing their daily sustenance due to the war and destruction that has ravaged the area. Despite these difficult circumstances, they do not surrender but instead challenge life with all the strength they have.
One of their simple but painful methods is that they are forced to eat animal feed barley, a food typically used to feed livestock, in order to feed their children. Despite the bitterness of this experience, the Kashko family sees this option as a means of survival, striving to provide the bare minimum of food for their children.
This family demonstrates strong will in facing the tragic reality, as they try with all their effort to give their children hope for a better life despite the harsh living conditions. Despite all they face, they still have a simple dream: to survive this harsh phase and be given a new opportunity in life.
